Craniosacral Therapy

Craniosacral Therapy is a gentle, non-invasive hands on technique developed by an American osteopathic physician almost 100 years ago. CST theory and practice is based on understanding the continuous and subtle movements of the cranial bones, which create a rhythm of approximately 6 to 12 cycles per minute. This rhythm is a response to cerebrospinal fluid (CSF) fluctuations within the spinal cord and brain.

Your therapist gently works with the spine and the skull, cranial sutures, diaphragms and fascia. By using the hands as tools, they assess the rhythm of cerebrospinal fluid, helping identify and correct areas of dysfunction and blockage through subtle manipulation.
